GASGAS ANNOUNCES CUTTING-EDGE MC 85 FOR 2025

NEW 2-STROKE MOTOCROSS BIKE SET TO CHANGE THE GAME IN THE HIGH-REVVING 85CC CLASS

When it comes to building high-performance 2-stroke dirt bikes, GASGAS sure knows a thing or two! So, for model year 2025, our super-popular MC 85 has undergone a complete overhaul – maximizing power from the motor while introducing an all-new frame and new WP XACT shock, to deliver confidence-inspiring handling and better stability. Not one component on the bike was overlooked by our engineers during the development process of this new generation model. The end result? A super-fun dirt bike that’s easy to ride fast for guaranteed good times!

  • GASGAS comes out swinging with an all-new generation MC 85!
  • New frame, all-red bodywork, and an updated motor headline the improvements
  • Find the awesome new MC 85 this July at a GASGAS dealer near you

For youngsters aged between 11 and 15 years old, we know there are a few options out there when it comes to moving up to the 85 class. But at the top of everyone’s list, thanks to a long list of serious updates for 2025, should be the awesome MC 85!

The new generation model has been developed with serious input from a global team of young test riders, with their feedback allowing our highly skilled team of engineers to build what may well be the best production 85cc motocross bike ever made! And just like before, there are two options to choose from with the MC 85 – one with 17”/14” wheels for smaller riders and another with 19”/16” wheels for those kids who grow just that little bit quicker!

The main objective for everyone involved in building the new MC 85 was to make it much easier to ride and control, compared to the outgoing model. There’s an all-new frame that maximizes stability and creates a lighter feel through the turns. A new WP XACT shock for better traction when getting on the gas. A new, lighter swingarm, and new footpegs, too. But wait up, that’s not everything…

Our already awesome MC 85 motor wasn’t overlooked when it came to developing this new bike! Top-end performance was already super impressive for an 85cc dirt bike, so the focus was put on squeezing out more low to mid-range power and boosting torque. And with a new cylinder head, ignition, exhaust, spark plug, and settings inside the KEIHIN carburetor, in addition to the revised airbox for increased airflow, we can safely say it is mission accomplished. Then, to make sure the MC 85 runs at the perfect temperature at all times for maximum power, new radiators, made by PANKL, keep the motor running cool.

And, on top of all that, the motor is repositioned in the frame to help balance the bike out even more. Plus, there’s new, all-red bodywork and new graphics to match the big bikes. The side panels are now even slimmer than before too, so kids can move around much more easily to emulate their GASGAS Factory Racing heroes!

Overall, the new MC 85 is designed to look just like our full size bikes, which lets kids do their thing on a scaled down version of what they can expect to ride when they get a bit older. Trust us, little rippers from around the world are going to love everything about the 2025 GASGAS MC 85. The post-ride smiles will tell you everything you need to know about how good it really is!

Technical Highlights
New frame – All-new for 2025 to improve cornering and stability, especially when getting on the gas out of turns. Frame protectors keep it looking fresh, too.

Updated motor – A new cylinder head, ignition, spark plug, and carburetor settings boost low to mid-range power and torque.

New bodywork and graphics – Mirroring the full size bikes for a sweet new look with slimmer side panels improving control.

New radiators – Made by PANKL so you just know they’re up to the job of keeping the motor cool!
Redesigned airbox – With improved airflow for maximum performance.

GASGAS ADDS TWO HIGH-REVVING 2-STROKES TO 2025 MOTOCROSS LINE-UP!

NEW MC 150 AND MC 300 MODELS COMPLETE THE IMPROVED RANGE OF MOTOCROSS MACHINES

One year on from launching an all-new generation of motocross machinery, GASGAS is spicing things up once again with a revitalised line-up that includes two new 2-stroke models for 2025. Existing bikes across both ranges now feature revised frames, engine mounts, swingarms, suspension settings and linkages to make sure each one is even more fun to ride.

  • New and improved GASGAS dirt bikes revealed for 2025
  • Huge choice of models means there’s something for everyone
  • Available in dealers from July onwards

Riders ask, GASGAS delivers! That’s right 2-stroke fans, GASGAS has introduced an MC 150 and an MC 300 to its motocross line-up! By expanding the offering, GASGAS really does now have a bike for everyone – from beginner to pro and every rider in between. The little MC 150 uses the foundations of the super-popular MC 125 but takes power – and more importantly – torque to a crazy new level for such a small capacity dirt bike.

The same can be said for the MC 300, which is based on the versatile MC 250. Offering up plenty of power, it’ll be the super useable torque curve that 2-stroke fanatics are going to love most about the MC 300! Both bikes are built using the same high-quality components found on all GASGAS motocross models for 2025. Such as the revised frame design…

Removing a little material around the upper shock mount and reducing thickness at the front end of the frame has resulted in the new motocross range shedding some weight for 2025 – 300 grams in total. These revisions significantly improve handling – especially when entering corners – without sacrificing any straight-line stability. New engine mounts further refine the frame’s flex characteristics, with revised suspension settings introduced to complement the chassis changes and help elevate the riding experience.

A stronger air intake sleeve prevents flex to maintain maximum airflow. At the rear of each bike, the swingarm is updated to enhance the durability of the chain slider, which is made from a more hard-wearing material to boost longevity. The suspension linkage now uses new, lower friction SKF seals to allow the WP Suspension rear shock to perform at its best, with a smaller linkage bolt reducing weight and playing a part in delivering the refined flex characteristics from the updated chassis.

Technical Highlights
Revised frame – Re-engineered for improved cornering while remaining stable at speed
New engine mounts – Now with cut-outs for improved chassis flex
New SKF linkage seals and smaller bolt – Leads to a smoother shock performance and saves weight
New suspension settings – Adapted to complement all of the chassis updates
New graphics – With GASGAS in bold black letters for a fresh twist on usual signature styling
New intake snorkel – A stronger design prevents air deformation for maximum power at all times
New fuel tank support – Holds the tank securely in place and prevents frame wear
Updated die-cast aluminum swingarm – Low in weight, strong and lightly machined to improve the durability of the chain slider
Updated rear brake pedal and caliper – Improving durability for continued performance

WP XACT rear shock – Light and offering 300mm of travel, the WP XACT shock is designed for maximum comfort and performance
Aluminum subframe – Strong, reliable and plays a vital role in improved ergonomics and handling All-red bodywork – Featuring large contact areas allowing improved grip and ultimate control
Hour metre – Helps to make sure all riders stay on top of maintainence

NEKEN handlebars – Made from high-strength aluminum for durability and comfort, featuring large bar pad and bar bend unique to GASGAS

THE BEST GETS BETTER AS GASGAS REVEALS ITS 2025 TRIAL LINE-UP

TECHNICAL UPDATES AND A FRESH NEW LOOK FOR ALL 2025 TXT GP AND TXT RACING MODELS

Besides the awesome TXT RACING 125, all 2025 bikes benefit from a new cylinder head to ensure improved cooling. Something super fresh is the fact GASGAS has made sure riders are still able to swap the cylinder head insert for one from its Technical Accessories range, allowing for customisation and an increase in power.

For 2025, all bikes feature revised transmissions for improved shifting and reliability. What’s more, the TXT RACING models now feature the same gear lever as found on the TXT GP models for added strength and smoother shifts. However the upgrades to the TXT RACING range don’t stop there! The bikes are now equipped with the same wavey GALFER discs as found on TXT GP models, allowing riders to benefit from a heightened level of brake control through every section. These discs meet the regulations of the highest FIM race series, ensuring no change is needed.

Exclusive to the TXT GP bikes are slightly reworked hubs for even better strength, which in parallel results in a weight reduction in the front. The lighter hubs are just as strong as before, still anodised in black and finished with two GASGAS laser etched logos. Also, TXT GP models look the business with the latest GASGAS Factory Racing inspired graphics.

Even though each bike in the 2025 line-up is built to perform at the highest level of trial, that doesn’t mean they can’t be ridden for fun by those who simply want to enjoy time with their riding buddies at the weekends. By being so easy to ride, maintain and customise, it’s pretty clear why GASGAS trial bikes are loved by so many enthusiasts around the world.

SMALL, RED AND EASY TO SHRED: DIRT BIKES FOR THRILL-SEEKING KIDS WORLDWIDE

Hot on the heels of GASGAS’ full-size dirt bike launch, we’re back with two awesome new 2-stroke mini bikes for 2024 – the MC 50 and MC 65. These latest generation models, which are pretty much all new, will certainly spice things up for every young rider out on the track. Headlining the massive list of exciting updates for both models is their adjustable ergonomics, as well as vibrant new bodywork, new motors and new frames. Almost everything about each model has been improved to take the riding experience to the next level. Without doubt, they’re the hottest dirt bikes kids will ever need!

  • GASGAS’ all-new generation MC 50 and MC 65 offer next-level performance
  • Adjustable ergonomics allow each bike to be adapted as riders grow
  • Check them out in GASGAS dealers from December 2023

Kids grow fast – sometimes a little too fast – which is why the GASGAS engineers have made the MC 50 and MC 65 adjustable in size. This means youngsters can continue riding a familiar bike, really getting the most out of it before stepping up to a bigger model. Plus, as both bikes are built from quality components in the same way as full-size GASGAS MX models, you know that these little rippers are the real deal.

MC 50
The new engine creates a broader spread of power, making the MC 50 so much easier to ride, and with classic GASGAS styling influenced by our full-size bikes, it really is a seriously good-looking dirt bike! Everything about it, including the new ignition, cylinder head, exhaust, frame and WP rear shock, combine to really boost the overall performance and handling of this awesome little 2-stroke.

Technical Highlights – MC 50
New and adjustable ergonomics – For the first time ever, the MC 50 features adjustable, child-specific ergonomics, which means the bike perfectly fits a wider range of riders. The bodywork, shock and subframe can now be fitted in two positions, offering a seat height of either 634mm or 682mm. This allows smaller kids to start on a smaller bike and stay with the MC 50 as they grow – in both size and confidence.

New bodywork – Influenced by our full-size bikes to create a unified look across the range, the new and scaled-down all-red bodywork looks the business!

New motor – With a slightly larger capacity of 49.9cc, the new motor creates a much broader spread of power when compared to the old generation but make no mistake, this little motor is just as high revving and packs a real punch!

New frame – Replicating the design of our bigger bikes for ultimate strength, improved handling and confidence-inspiring stability. The shock’s mounting position has also been moved to reduce energy transfer through the frame for next level rideability.

New polyamide reinforced steel subframe – Strong, light and height adjustable with two positions to accommodate growing riders, while playing a vital role when it comes to the bike’s overall handling.

New cylinder head – Redesigned inserts made from two separate parts for simplified maintenance – who doesn’t love that?

New ignition – The new digital ignition is largely responsible for the increased power and durability of the new MC 50.

New clutch – A reinforced basket means improved durability while the multi-disk clutch pack helps deliver smooth and predictable power.

New radiator – One large radiator (instead of two) helps simplify the hose routing to improve cooling in all conditions.

New exhaust – With the welds on the inside smoothed over it makes for a noticeable power gain throughout the rev-range.

New WP XACT Rear Suspension – A shorter rear shock lowers the back end of the MC 50 to create a much more balanced chassis and is perfectly matched to the WP XACT front forks.

New footpegs – All-new design improves grip, prevents mud from building up and stops them catching on deep ruts.

New handlebars and grips – A super modern bar bend improves body position and boosts technique while ODI grips offer maximum comfort.

New hour meter – For making sure routine maintenance stays on schedule.

MC 65
For kids stepping up from the MC 50, our MC 65 is ready and waiting. Because riding the MC 65 could be the first time a child throws their leg over a dirt bike with a clutch and transmission, our engineers have designed both components to be easy to use and maintain a consistent performance. This, in addition to the unrestrictive ergonomics, more usable spread of power and a perfectly balanced chassis, allows young thrill seekers to focus on what matters most – riding fast and having fun!

Technical Highlights – MC 65
New and adjustable ergonomics – For the first time ever, the MC 65 features adjustable, child-specific ergonomics which means the bike caters for more riders. The bodywork, shock and subframe can now be fitted in two positions, which offers a seat height of either 715mm or 760mm. This allows smaller kids to start on the lower seat height and eventually graduate to the taller setting, keeping them riding the same bike for longer and building up their skills and confidence.

New bodywork – Similar to the new MC 50, the new bodywork is a scaled down version of our full-size bikes abd also looks the business!

New motor – Much more powerful than the old generation and sets the bar even higher when it comes to 2-stroke performance!

New frame – Replicating the design of our big bikes for ultimate strength, improved handling and confidence-inspiring stability. The shock’s mounting position has also been moved to reduce the energy transfer through the frame for next level rideability. Riders will also enjoy carving through tighter corners thanks to a wider steering range.

New polyamide reinforced steel subframe – Strong, light and height adjustable with two positions to accommodate growing riders while playing a vital role when it comes to the bike’s overall handling.

New cylinder head – Redesigned inserts made from two separate parts for simplified maintenance.

New ignition – The new digital ignition is largely responsible for the increased power and durability of the new MC 65.

New clutch – A steel basket means improved durability while the diaphragm spring clutch self-adjusts to maintain performance.

New radiators – Two new Pankl radiators replicate the same design as used on our full-size GASGAS dirt bikes but scaled down to fit the MC 65. These rads, in addition to a new coolant hose layout, keep the bike running super cool for maximum power and motor durability.

New exhaust – With the welds on the inside smoothed over it makes for a noticeable power gain throughout the rev-range.

New WP XACT rear suspension – A shorter rear shock with 253.5mm of travel lowers the back end to create a much more balanced chassis and is perfectly matched to the WP XACT front forks.

New footpegs – All-new design improves grip, prevents mud from building up and stops them catching on deep ruts.

New shift lever – Influenced by our full-size bikes, precise shifting in all conditions is super easy thanks to its clever design that prevents mud from building up around the tip.

New kickstart – A quick prod of the redesigned kickstart and the MC 65 fires into life. Simple!

New handlebars and grips – A super modern bar bend improves body position and boosts technique while ODI grips offer maximum comfort.

New hour meter – For making sure routine maintenance stays on schedule.

GASGAS UNVEILS TRIALS LINE-UP FOR 2024

ALL SIX MODELS AVAILABLE TO ORDER FROM SEPTEMBER

One year on from launching the best GASGAS trials bikes ever made, GASGAS is heading full steam into 2024 with an updated line-up, based on the already proven model range. Each of the two TXT GP models have received some tasty upgrades while our four tried, tested and much-loved TXT RACING bikes remain every bit as awesome and super fun to ride.

GASGAS unveils its awesome 2024 six bike trials line-up
Rideability and performance of the TXT GP bikes taken to new levels
All six models available from official GASGAS dealers worldwide from September

It only seems like yesterday that GASGAS unveiled the latest and greatest generation of trials bikes. But now, 12 months on, and the best just got better. The bold, modern, and instantly recognisable 2024 bikes are here, with their distinctive red livery. Beyond their easy-on-the-eye appearance, these 2-strokes are the real deal. GASGAS knows that trials riders worldwide absolutely love the unmatched rideability of each bike, which is a result of their agile handling and compact, powerful motors.

For 2024, performance has certainly been spiced up on the TXT GP 250 and TXT GP 300 models. The first thing that draws attention, both visually and while riding, is the Akrapovic exhaust pipe. Made from high-grade titanium, the header pipe is not only 350 grams lighter, but between 2,000rpm and 7,000rpm, there’s a noticeable boost to power, which makes scaling the biggest obstacles even easier than before.

Handling wise, the TXT GP models retain the fully adjustable Tech3 shock that now features a 25% larger reservoir for increased oil capacity. The reason for this revision is simple – less heat builds up which makes damping much more consistent and predictable, even through the gnarliest of technical sections.

Rounding off the exciting changes to both TXT GP bikes are the new, FIM-approved brake discs front and rear, a new gear lever – designed with a shorter tip that’s better at preventing mud from building up, as well as fresh new graphics taken straight from the GASGAS Factory Racing bikes.

Offering next-level rideability, the GASGAS TXT RACING models deliver unrivaled performance and with four popular engine sizes – 125cc, 250cc, 280cc and 300cc – the 2024 range really does offer something for everyone! Each of these models, as well as the TXT GP range, are assembled inside the state-of-the-art GASGAS production facility in Terrassa, Spain, and fitted with quality components throughout. The hottest around when it comes to high-performance trial bikes, the 2024 GASGAS TXT RACING range lets trial riders of all ages and abilities do their thing with serious style.

IT'S ROCK AND ROLL TIME

GASGAS LAUNCHES 2024 ENDURO RANGE

So easy, and so much fun to ride. That’s what makes our new generation of enduro bikes so competitive! Spicing up the riding experience in the woods, on the trails, and through every extreme section, these new bikes are as good as it gets when it comes to enduro performance. New bodywork not only makes these bikes easy on the eye, but once onboard, riders will soon notice the larger, and smoother, contact areas, allowing for tighter grip as you get on the gas across challenging terrain. It’s 2024. It’s time to rock ‘n’ roll!

We’ve also added two new models – an EC 450F and an EC 500F. Both big-bore bikes are more suited to open, flowy trails and feature all the same top-level components as the rest of the range. We’re talking Braktec brakes, WP suspension, and enduro-specific PANKL transmissions. Knowing just how beneficial a rear suspension linkage is, we've fitted to every GASGAS enduro bike, to make sure that each one soaks up small chop and hard hits with ease. Make no mistake, the best enduro bikes out there just got even better for 2024!

The outgoing generation of GASGAS enduro bikes was already super agile through the trees and super stable at higher speeds. However, thanks to the new motors across the range being both lighter and more powerful, the handling characteristics are amplified further! This was achieved by our engineers repositioning the motors inside the new frames to centralise weight and balance things out a little better. Sounds like a small change, but will soon become evident on the trails.

Technical Highlights Enduro
New frame – Engineered to be stable at speed while remaining incredibly agile through tight and twisty trails, the new frame amplifies the riding experience for everyone.
New aluminum subframe – Strong, reliable, and plays a vital role in the ergonomics and handling of each bike.
New die-cast aluminum swingarm – Light, strong, and offering just the right amount of flex!
New bodywork – Refined rider triangle gives larger contact areas so riders can better grip the bike for improved control.
WP XPLOR front fork with open cartridge – Undergoing plenty of technical changes to further improve performance and overall handling, the WP XPLOR forks are a little longer, assembled with new settings, and remain easily adjustable by hand.
WP XACT rear shock with rear linkage – Shorter and lighter yet retaining 300mm of travel, the WP XACT shock features a new piston for improved comfort. And to make sure the shock action is always consistent and progressive, all GASGAS enduro bikes are equipped with a linkage.
New forged triple clamps – Featuring a new steering stem that offers a little more flex for improved comfort.
New Braktec brakes – With brake disks unique to GASGAS and new calipers front and rear, it’s never been easier to keep things under control in the woods.
Neken Handlebars – Made from high-strength aluminum and with a bar bend unique to GASGAS, durability and comfort are guaranteed while a bigger bar pad improves safety.
New footpegs – Bigger is definitely better when it comes to footpegs, which means the new GASGAS bikes offer better control in all conditions.
New Throttle Body Injection with separate oil tank for 2 strokes – Bringing our 2-stroke enduro dirt bikes bang up to date, Throttle Body Injection makes sure the motors run clean, crisp, and create strong power throughout the rev range.
New electronic exhaust control 2 strokes – Controlling how the exhaust ports open, the new electronic powervalve improves durability while boosting torque.
New motors – Centralising mass while also being lighter, not to mention that they produce more usable torque, the performance from each motor is even better for 2024.
New, unified motor position – All 4-stroke models have the motor mounted in the same position to improve the overall handling of each and every bike.
Map Select Switch – Take the riding experience of any of our four strokes to the next level with a Map Select Switch! Readily available as a Technical Accessory, with the simple press of the corresponding button, traction control, a quickshifter, and a choice of two maps can be engaged to customise the performance of each enduro bike. And by adding one to any of our 2-strokes, you'll also get the choice of two different engine maps.

Motocross | Turning up the heat!
To GASGAS, it doesn’t really matter if you ride motocross for fun or if you race to win. What matters is making sure that all five of our new bikes deliver the very best performance for guaranteed good times in the dirt. For 2024, we’re really turning up the heat in the moto scene. Starting with our little 2-stroke ripper – our beloved MC 125 – through to the MXGP race winning MC 450F 4-stroke, we really do have a bike to suit all types of riders.

GASGAS motocross models are already the best handling dirt bikes out there, but that didn’t stop our engineers from making them perform even better! With each one assembled using new steel frames, new aluminum subframes, and new swingarms, the perfect combination of razor-sharp cornering and straight-line stability is further refined to maximise the fun factor. And to bring our MC 125 and MC 250 2-strokes bang up to date, both bikes fire into life with the simple press of the new electric start button – none of that kickstart nonsense here! Plus, they’re now fuelled by cutting-edge throttle body injection for a crisper response and much-improved on-track performance.

Across the board, all 2024 models are now powered by new, lighter motors, which produce both more torque and high-revving power than ever before. They’re then fitted neatly inside new frames with a slight backwards tilt to lower the front sprocket, centralise the weight, and make the best handling motocross bikes on the planet handle even better!
