CF Racing Terms and Conditions of Trading
In these conditions:
- “you" refers you as in the purchaser of the goods (buyer)
- "we" and “us” refers to CF Racing Ltd (the seller)
- “website” refers to www.CFRacing.co.uk
- "Working days" means every day but excluding Saturdays, Sundays and UK public holidays
- “product/s” and “good/s” will be used interchangeably throughout these terms and conditions, to mean the goods being purchased as defined in the Sale of Goods Act and other consumer legislation
- The headings of each provision in these Conditions are intended to be for convenience only and will not have an effect on interpretation
- In these Conditions, the singular shall include the plural and vice versa
Nothing in these Conditions shall exclude or restrict any statutory rights conferred upon the Buyer where the buyer deals as a consumer within the meaning of the Unfair Contract terms Act 1977
CF Racing is a company based in North Wales, close to the English border. The owners of CF Racing have been racing off-road motorcycles for over 40 years and are still participating today. The next generation of the family are also involved in motorcycle racing and other motorsports. This means that we are able to offer you real advice, based on real experience.
Please make sure that you have fully read and understood these terms and conditions before placing your order on our website. Using our website and placing an order with us amounts to your acceptable of these terms and conditions, and you will be bound by them.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of goods through this website; all purchases are subject to the terms and conditions stated here; these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Information about your rights can be obtained from the Office of Fair Trading, Citizens Advice Bureau etc.
The relevant law includes the following, although not exhaustive:

The purpose for this site is to provide you with information about CF Racing Ltd and the products we offer for sale.
Basis Of The Sale
The Seller shall sell and the Buyer shall purchase the Goods in accordance with these Conditions which shall govern the Contract to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions
All internet orders for products will be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase a product under these Terms and Conditions
No contract exists between us and you until we have emailed you an acceptance of your order (which will be shortly after we receive your order).
We reserve the right to cancel the contract if the goods are no longer available, have been priced wrongly on the website, or your payment has not been received.
It is your responsibility to make sure that you order the correct goods; this includes:
- Make sure that you know the exact model and year of your bike; most customers know this but sometimes there is confusion as to the exact model. Please check your manual or provide us with a frame number.
- Make sure that you choose the correct version of the product for your bike. An example of this would be sprockets. We sell Renthal front sprockets for Honda motorbikes. The range available on our website for the Honda range is 12 to 16 teeth (inclusive). Your particular Honda may only have a range available of 13 to 15 teeth, and the standard size for your bike may be 14 teeth. This information can be found on Renthal’s website. Alternatively you can remove your own sprocket and count the teeth or even check your owner’s manual.
- Clothing and boot sizes do vary from manufacturer to manufacturer so we will not be responsible if the item you have ordered does not fit you
The payment card will be debited immediately after the order is accepted. By using a credit/debit card, you are confirming that it is your card; if the card is not yours, the owner of the card is the one inputting the relevant card information, authorizing its use. We will undertake all authorisation checks on the card.
Prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) but do not include postage & packaging (P&P). The P&P cost will be added to your order before you confirm your order i.e. in your shopping basket. Details of the P&P prices are contained in the Delivery section below.
Prices are liable to change without notice, however product price changes will not affect orders which have already been placed and confirmed; this applies to both price increases and reductions.
Some product descriptions may contain manufacturers recommended/suggested retail price. We will try and ensure that these are accurate at all times.
Once you have placed your order, we will send you an email notification of your order. We will also send you an email notification when your order is dispatched.
We will endeavour to dispatch orders placed before 2pm on the same working day where it is a stock item/s. Orders placed after 2pm will be dispatched the following working day. For non-stock items, items will be dispatched as soon as they are available. In most cases this will be within 5 working days. Please allow up to 21 days for delivery as the manufacturers may be short of stock. We will email you with an estimated dispatch date for non-stock items within 1 working day of receiving your order. If you are not happy to wait for the non-stock item/s then you are entitled to cancel your order, but this must be done by email within 1 working day of the estimated dispatch email.
Any dates quoted for delivery of the Products are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the products howsoever caused.
We will use various methods to dispatch items. As a general rule small items will be sent using Royal Mail and larger items will be sent using a courier.
The P&P costs are as follows:
Order value up to £100 = £5.99
Order value over £100 = Free
Free postage does not apply to very heavy items, which are collection only e.g. motorbikes… Use your common sense for this but if you are not sure then please email sales@cfracing or telephone 01490 412146.
You are required to provide sufficient details to us to enable successful delivery of the goods. All Goods must be signed for, so you should take this into account when you are providing delivery details. If delivery cannot be made to your address for any reason, you will be informed of this by email as soon as possible.
If the bag/box/parcel/ being delivered does not appear to be in good condition, you should refuse delivery in case the goods inside are damaged; alternatively you can open the parcel to check that the goods inside are not damaged before you sign for it. The reason for this is that you are signing for ‘goods in good condition’ when you sign for them.
Any notification of shortages or damaged products must be emailed to us within seven days from delivery.
Where the Products are delivered in separate deliveries, each delivery shall constitute a separate contract; if we fail to deliver any of the instalments in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or any claim by you in respect of any one or more instalments shall not entitle you to treat the Contract as a whole as repudiated.
Ownership of the goods will not pass to you until paid for in full. For goods paid for in full, ownership of the goods will pass to you on delivery of the goods.
You have the right to cancel the contract for any purchase within 7 working days of delivery (this includes orders not yet dispatched). You will be responsible for cost of the return postage. We will deduct the original postage and packaging costs from your refund, together with an administration charge of 5% to cover the card transaction costs.

If you are returning goods because of an error on our part, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in returning the goods to us (or we will send someone to collect it) and send you the correct/replacement goods; if you decide that you do not want the correct/replacement good then we will provide you with a full refund. Examples of our errors include (not exhaustive):
- We sent out the wrong goods
- The stock item/code is listed wrongly on our website
- The product is defective
If you are returning the item because you ordered the wrong item, then you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item and the cost for sending out the replacement/correct item. In this instance, if you do not require replacement goods, you will also be required to pay up to a 5% charge to cover the card transaction costs.
You will be provided with a 'returns notice' with your order; please complete this and include it with your returns. Please send all returns to our trading address.
The items purchased must be unopened and in unmarked original condition; packaging which has been defaced, written on, marked or damaged cannot be accepted for return.
We cannot provide you with a refund until we have received the returned goods. If you require replacement goods then you will have to place a new order and pay for them. The correct refund amount will then be credited on your card when we have checked the returned goods.
You are responsibe for getting the returns back to us. If you are ordering replacement goods, it may be possible for the courier to collect the returns at the same time as delivery. You would need to email or telephone to make arrangements for this.
The Data/information you provide will be used by us to fulfil your order and to keep you informed of your order progress and to notify you of any changes.
All information provided by you will become part of the CF Racing Database, and will be kept and used in accordance with the provisions of the Data protection Act 1998 (DPA). We will use your information for our own internal marketing purposes, which will include sending you our newsletter and special offers. We will not at any time provide any external organisation with your details.
The DPA provides you with the right to request a copy of your personal information which CF Racing holds about you. Please send this request with the fee of £5 to CF racing’s trading address.
E-mail is not a confidential or secure form of communication and is susceptible to delay, non-delivery and can be intercepted by third parties. Any information sent by e-mail is done so at your own risk.
We accept payment from most Credit and Debit cards. To ensure that your online payment is secure you can use your Paypal account or you can use Protx. For more information on Protx’s 128 and 256-bit encryption, please visit the link on the site or go to www.protx.com/about_security.asp
None of your card details are stored in our systems; your payment is made through one of the secure payment organisations.
Warranty and Liability
We have made reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy, currency, completeness and electronic integrity of this site and the information contained within it, however, all descriptions, illustrations, weights, sizes etc of products on our website are given as a guide only and Products may not necessarily conform to the exact detail. We cannot accept liability for any loss whatsoever incurred as a result of reliance on the information provided in this site (and other sites linked from this one).
Colours will vary between different computers/monitors, therefore we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the colours you see on your monitor; the only accurate way to identify a colour is to see it in real life. Obtaining product leaflets or catalogues from manufacturers will also help you with colours/details; visiting manufacturers’ websites may also help.
We accept no liability for any indirect or consequential loss or damage. For any loss of data, profit, revenue or business (whether direct or indirect), however caused, including foreseeable loss/damage.
If we are liable to you for any reason, our liability will be limited to the amount paid by you for the Product/s concerned. This term does not apply to liability from negligence resulting in death or personal injury.
You are responsible for ensuring that your computer system and internet browser/provider is compatible with our website. Although we have endeavoured to make our website safe and free from infection, we do not guarantee or warrant that any material you have downloaded is free from infection, viruses or other code which may enter your system. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have sufficient protection installed on your computer e.g. anti virus software, firewall etc.
The provisions in these Terms and Conditions should be treated both together and individually; in the event of a provision being declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, then that provision shall be severed and deleted from the Terms and Conditions. The remainder of the Terms and Conditions shall continue to operate together and individually.
These Terms and Conditions, the use of our website and any contract formed between us shall be governed by English Law and thus any parties to a contract agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time. Check them every time you visit the site to see if any amendments have been made.
Links and addresses of external websites are provided for information only; we have provided them in good faith and we have no control whatsoever with regards to the content of these websites and we therefore exclude any liability from the use of any and all other sites.

We will treat each complaint in the strictest of confidence and will resolve it as soon as practicably possible.
